Additional Services

At Comfort Home Insulation & Roofing, we go beyond just roofing and insulation—we offer a range of additional services to ensure your home remains energy-efficient, well-ventilated, and fully protected from the elements

Additional Roof Vent Installation

Maximum Vent 301

Skillfully designed, the static Maximum ventilator has no moving parts, and needs no electrical energy. Its square shape enables it to pick up wind from all directions yet keeps out rain and snow due to its storm proof deflectors, and allows humidity to escape evenly and systematically.

Lomanco Whirlybird Vent

All Lomanco® Whirlybird® Turbines come with the Forever Guarantee, a Lifetime Transferable Warranty. The turbine design features permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearings that ensure long life and no maintenance.

WeatherPRO® PROTurbo Vent

Snow Resistant & High Airflow Roof Tall Vents Tall vents are designed to help maximize the exhaust of moist, warm air from attics, bathrooms and dryers for specific roof designs and high snow accumulation.

Intake Vents

Intake vents play a vital role in your roofing system by allowing fresh air to enter the attic while working in conjunction with exhaust vents to regulate temperature and moisture levels.

Bath, Dryer or Rangehood Vents

Gooseneck roof exhaust vents provide high-performance ventilation, extracting moisture and heat from attics, bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. The patented design adds five inches of height for effective snow clearance. Internal dampers minimize backdraft, and the design diverts precipitation, while a molded screen wards off birds, insects, and pests. These durable, weather-resistant vents are available in various colors and accommodate ducts ranging from 4 to 8 inches.

Proper ventilation is key to extending the lifespan of your roof and preventing moisture buildup. We install additional Exhaust vents and Intake vents, to improve airflow and reduce the risk of condensation and ice dams. A well-ventilated attic requires a balanced system of intake and exhaust vents. Our team at Comfort Home Insulation & Roofing assesses your home’s ventilation needs and installs ridge vents, soffit vents, and other intake solutions to optimize airflow and protect your roof.

Bathroom Fan Installation

Poor ventilation leads to mold and mildew buildup, which not only looks bad but can also be harmful to your health. Installing a bathroom fan helps improve air circulation, keeping the space dry and well-ventilated. The right fan choice depends on the room size, whether it’s a main bathroom, basement bath, or powder room.
Excess humidity can cause long-term problems, and we rely on bathroom fans to manage moisture effectively. However, a fan can only do its job if it’s used consistently. Comfort Home helps you create a healthier, happier home with expert ventilation solutions:

• Guidance on choosing the right bath fans

• Professional installation services

• Repairs for faulty ventilation systems

• Replacement of outdated fans with new, efficient models

Air Sealing

Prevents Energy Loss & Reduces Utility Bills

Gaps and leaks in the attic allow heated or cooled air to escape, making your HVAC system work harder. Proper air sealing improves energy efficiency, leading to lower energy costs.

Improves Indoor Comfort

Without proper air sealing, drafts, uneven temperatures, and excessive heat loss can make your home uncomfortable in both summer and winter.

Prevents Moisture & Mold Issues

Leaks in the attic allow warm, moist air from inside your home to enter the attic space. This can cause condensation, leading to mold growth, wood rot, and insulation damage.

Enhances Insulation Performance

Even the best insulation won't work effectively if there are air leaks. Air sealing helps insulation perform at its maximum potential by stopping unwanted air movement.

Reduces Ice Dams in Winter

Warm air escaping into the attic can cause snow on the roof to melt and refreeze at the edges, creating ice dams that lead to roof damage and leaks. Proper air sealing minimizes this risk.

Most attics in Canadian homes are under-insulated and have significant air leaks, leading to energy waste and higher heating costs. Sealing attic air leaks and adding insulation are among the most cost-effective ways to improve energy efficiency prevent heat loss.

I found Comfort Home via Homestar. Sasha's quote is not the lowest, but she explained everything so well and my guts feeling told me she is the right person. Looking back how proud I am of my good decision! The communication went very well as we had to reschedule a few times due to the weather or the vacation schedule. Sasha and her team did a wonderful job for attic insulation for my home. Sasha did all the air insulations and installed a roof vent prior to the attic insulation, and I am so amazed by the quality of the work. Highly recommend Comfort Home to any homeowner for the attic insulation work.

Definitely the right choice! I can list many details about the process here, but if you are like me and want the "no nonsense approach" - this was it. Comfort Home Insulation was only one of several (5 to be exact) companies that I've reached out to in the Calgary area, that provided me with quotes for the requested attic insulation upgrade, but certainly stood head and shoulders above the competition. 5*'s - Punctuality -Sasha and her team were punctual from the initial assessment right up to the job completion. 5*'s - Keen Eye - She knows her stuff - Bathrooms were incorrectly vented into the attic space - previous "somebody" hacked up the ceiling and vapour barrier, 3" exhaust duct into a 4" vent cap etc.. Bottom line, everything got ducted and sealed properly. 5* - Thoroughness - in my attic there are "hard to reach" areas (just the way the house was built) - Comfort Home team took great, and no doubt painstaking care to apply product evenly and consistently, even in the "hard-to-reach" For the critics - I get it, it's not rocket science - but it is principle for me, and none of the other companies bothered. Comfort Home was not the cheapest quote, but neither were they the most expensive out of the 5. With the above listed highlights, they are the best value, bar none.

We had an excellent experience with Sasha and her team and would highly recommend this company for upgrading your home attic insulation. Sasha was very thorough but also did not try and upsell us on unnecessary work. We were also impressed with her attention to the details and the time she spent in answering all of our questions prior to our accepting the quote.

Trust me you won’t regret getting the attic insulation service from Sasha! She looked in VERY DEATIL, for the service needed for our attic, and explained everything in detail when first visiting our home, to make sure we understand what service in need and why. She installed blown in fiberglass insulation to bring the level to R60 , and she installed almost 70 baffles to ensure the attic ventilation. She saw the rotten wood around around the attic hatch (the only one when we were getting the quotes found this issue and mentioned to us) and changed the rotten wood, this is not easy work! Air sealed everything possible for our attic! And the charge is very very reasonable, and the service is top!

The folks at Comfort Home Insulation & Roofing did an exceptional job on adding insulation to my home attic. This is not an easy job and requires a professional who knows what is needed. All air leaks were sealed off before the insulation was added. Fast reliable service from a very ethical staff. Highly recommend.

They made the whole process very easy. Super quick email communication and prompt service. They were also able to install a roof vent for a bathroom fan that I need to get done. The workers were pleasant and very clean and tidy. Even the process of blowing in the insulation was rather quiet, as my dog and newborn baby were not disturbed by the sound. Quieter than a vacuum. Thanks, Sasha!

We are very happy with the work that Sasha did for us. We had our energy audit recently done and brought in Comfort Home Attic Insulation in to top up our insulation in the attic including installing baffles, sealing the vents and chimney's that went through the attic, and improving the hatch seal/insulation. Sasha did a great job explaining the process and what would take place then provided some great before and after pictures to show the work completed. She cleaned up anything left behind or dropped and left our house cleaner than when she arrived. Communication was great. We would highly recommend Sasha for anyone looking to have this kind of work done.

We are extremely happy and highly recommend Comfort Home Insulation & Roofing Ltd. to anyone who is considering insulating their attic. From the time Sasha came to do the estimate, through to completion of the work, everything was first class. Sasha is very friendly, professional, highly competent, and provided us with her superior knowledge, expertise, photos of before and after, and left no questions unanswered. Sasha and her team (Alex and his partner) respected and treated our home as if it were their own, carefully covering everything and cleaning up afterwards. Prices are competitive as well, but we made our decision based on who we thought was the best company for the job, and we remain confident that we made the right decision! You will be thrilled with the outcome too! Many thanks to Sasha and Alex!
